"A life catastrophe almost four years ago forced me to totally re-evaluate my priorities. So very grateful to have survived. I was told by many that I had something more to do on this earth. I firmly believe that every day is a precious gift and that each of us has the capacity to help others – in a myriad of ways."

Become a volunteer for VSC!

VSC depends on the community for gifts of time so that crime victims' needs can be met 24 hours a day. After successfully completing VSC's 65 hour training, volunteers answer the crisis hotline from their homes and provide support, information, and appropriate referrals to individuals who have been affected by violent crimes in our community and accompaniment to local hospitals and police stations at the victim's request.
