Counseling Services 

We are here to support you on your healing journey. We are professionally trained in helping trauma survivors, their loved ones, and friends. A person who has been victimized often struggles with flashbacks; relationship trouble; feelings of guilt, grief, and loss. All of these feelings can be overwhelming, but you don't have to experience them alone. Our services are free and confidential. 

We offer

  • Supportive Counseling (adults and children ages 5+)

Confidentiality Statement 

 

Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, Inc. (VSC) is committed to respecting the privacy and integrity of all those we service and to keeping all aspects of their relationship with us confidential to the fullest extent possible. Any written/spoken information exchanged between a client and a VSC counselor is confidential and not to be shared with any third party without the client’s permission subject to the following two exceptions: 

  1. A client threatens to harm themselves and/or harm others.

  2. The situation involves suspected abuse or neglect of a child, i.e. someone under 18 years of age. In that case, we will report suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate Office of Children and Youth Services and/or ChildLine.
